Double Pointed Needles

The smooth nickel-plated surface allows stitches to move freely and the tapered knitting needle tips make working stitches a dream. Good sharp points are particularly important when making socks as you need to be able to dig into the stitch.  A lot of other needles actually have very blunt points.  These needles are a good weight and don't drag the knitting down but also don't slip out of the stitches.  They are available as a set of five so at last you can follow patterns written for 5 needles (instead of having to buy 2 sets of 4 as I have done in the past).
